Cheap Flights to Dubai: How to Get to Dubai at the Best Price?

The number of flights to the United Arab Emirates is increasing day by day, with new airline companies and routes being added to the list. As someone who has been living in the region for many years, in this article, I will outline the airlines where you can find cheap flights to Dubai.

Cheap Flights to Dubai: Airlines

While not all of these companies, most of them are listed on skyscanner. You can compare prices here.

Pegasus

Flights from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport to Dubai (DXB) during campaign periods often offer many affordable tickets.

However, even without a campaign, you can find very reasonable tickets to another city in UAE; Sharjah. Sharjah is an emirate neighboring Dubai within the United Arab Emirates. Flights departing from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen to Sharjah are almost always more economical than flights to DXB. If you land in Sharjah, you’ll need to take a taxi about 45-50km to reach the city center of Dubai. In the case of landing at DXB, the same distance averages around 30km. So, it’s a cheaper ticket but with a bit more taxi cost 🙂

If you’re coming from Europe to UAE, make sure to check the Pegasus flight tickets with a stopover in Istanbul.

Anadolu Jet

AnadoluJet operates flights to both DXB and Sharjah Airport. Flights from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen to DXB, when compared to Turkish Airlines tickets, are much more economical. However, the most affordable tickets are still those on the Sabiha Gökçen – Sharjah route. It’s possible to catch tickets at campaign prices close to domestic ticket prices, and my recommendation is to take a look at these tickets.

FlyDubai

FlyDubai is a Dubai-based airline, more affordable version of Emirates. FlyDubai lands to DXB Airport. Although it is the more budget-friendly version of Emirates, ticket prices are slightly higher compared to other low-cost alternatives.

AirArabia

The airline of Sharjah, Dubai’s neighboring city, is AirArabia. During campaign periods, you can find tickets at a very reasonable price. Since Sharjah Airport is smaller than the others, entry and exit proceed quickly, and you don’t waste any time. You can check AirArabia tickets here.

SunExpress

SunExpress, which is a common low fare airline in Europe and Turkey, offers quite affordable tickets to Dubai. If you’re flying from Europe, you can make a stop over in Izmir (3rd biggest city in Turkey) and land to DXB airport.

WizzAir

Yes, I saved the cheapest for last. WizzAir is generally a cheap airline that flies to European cities. Although it fly to Abu Dhabi, not Dubai, it’s still one the cheapest option. Shuttles from Abu Dhabi Airport to Dubai are available. The journey with shuttles takes approximately 1.5-2 hours, and the ticket price is 35 AED. If you don’t want to use the shuttle, you can go to Dubai by taxi, and you will pay an average of 300 AED for this. If the total cost still seems reasonable when you consider these, then you’ve found a great ticket. 🙂

Cheap Flights to Dubai: Tips & Notes & Conclusion

  • Emirates, Etihad, and similar airline companies are not included in this list as they are not one of the low fare airlines. If the price is not an issue for you, you can also check the flights of these companies.
